Core Framework
D&A Barrier Matrix
Accelerra's proprietary diagnostic framework that maps an organization's adoption barriers across two axes — Skill and Trust — to identify which adoption archetype is present and prescribe the right intervention.
Decision Velocity
The speed and confidence at which an organization makes data-backed decisions. Low Decision Velocity is characterized by delayed decisions, excessive meeting cycles, and dependence on manual reporting rather than live analytics.
Shadow AI Protocol
Accelerra's risk assessment framework for organizations where employees are using unauthorized consumer AI tools — such as ChatGPT or Copilot — without organizational oversight, creating data security and compliance exposure.
The Four Adoption Archetypes
Each archetype is the output of the D&A Barrier Matrix diagnostic and represents a distinct combination of skill level and trust level.
The Sleepwalker
High trust, low skill. Employees who are willing to use data tools but lack the practical capability to do so independently. Primary symptom: flooding the data team with basic support requests.
The Bureaucrat
High trust, high skill. Teams with strong analytical capability whose decision-making processes haven't evolved to use live data effectively. Primary symptom: running meetings from static PowerPoint slides instead of live dashboards.
The Gambler
Low trust, low skill. Leaders who rely on intuition and view data as a threat to their authority rather than a tool that supports it. Primary symptom: dismissing analytics outputs in favor of gut feel.
The Skeptic
Low trust, high skill. Analytically capable leaders who have been burned by inaccurate data in the past and have concluded the organization's data cannot be trusted. Primary symptom: exporting dashboards to Excel to verify numbers manually.
